Unit 9: Risk & Coverage

The Concept of Risk
Risk isn't something to avoid, it's a reality to manage. This lesson introduces the four strategies people use to handle life's uncertainties and sets the foundation for every insurance topic that follows.

Insurance Lingo & Mechanics
Insurance feels like alphabet soup until you realize every term exists to answer one question: who pays what, and when? This lesson decodes premiums, deductibles, claims, and coverage so students can read any policy without panic.

Auto Insurance
One fender bender can cost more than a year of premiums—if you picked the wrong coverage. This lesson unpacks the five coverage types, the premium-deductible tradeoff, and how teens can pick a policy that won't bankrupt them after a crash.
